The nine-session Citizen Police Academy offers 25 citizens an inside look at law enforcement. Sessions for this year will be held on Thursdays from April 30 through June 25. This is an application for the program. You will be notified in April if you are accepted. If you have any questions, please contact Sergeant Jake MacKeller at jmackeller@miottawa.org.
Potential candidates for the Citizen Police Academy must meet the following criteria:
-Minimum age of 18
-Live or work in Ottawa County
-No Misdemeanor arrests within one year of application
-No prior felony arrests
